Of the Cherry Audio banks we've created, this is our current favorite. 'Cinematic 80s' contains 86 presets for GX-80 with a strong retro-futurist, "cyberpunk" feel. The "Dual" mode was used extensively to create interesting layered textures and tones such as sinister soundscapes, fat basses, exotic keys and synths, etc. We've also provided modwheel, aftertouch and velocity assignments for expressive live playing.
